The Limousin area of France is easily accessible either by car, train or by plane.
Air:
Frequent flights are available to the three airports serving the region.
Limoges airport is around 29 miles from the house. Ryanair has a daily flight from London Stanstead airport. From 20/05/04 Flybe will also be offering a daily service from Southampton airport. Hertz car rental have a special rate if you book trough Ryanair.
The other airports are Poitiers (68 miles) and Angoulême (35 miles).
Car:
Eurotunnel, with it's fast crossing time of only 35 minutes, must surely be a preferred method of getting across the channel. There are 4 trains per hour, 24 hours a day every day.
Once in Calais, your end destination is only 460 miles away (8 hrs.).

Train:
Eurostar from London Waterloo or Ashford International taking you to Paris Gare du Nord. From here, take the Metro to Montparnasse where you take the TGV to Angoulême. The entire journey can be arranged by Eurostar and takes around 6 hours.
